The Pool is about a mile from the noted shopping facilities of Harrogate, where pre-pay ticket parking is available for the shops.  Parking at the Hydro is available, but may fill up closer to meet start time. Please do not park on the grass at the Hydro - cars simply sink, and the tractor to pull you out is stunningly expensive (and doesn't take credit cards).

'Safe Sport Away' guidelines - The Hydro takes safety very seriously, and Harrogate is a pleasant town. However, if you are bringing a group to the Hydro and need information to help with your routine risk assessment, then email webmaster@swimharrogate.org and we shall be delighted to help.

A meet for swimmers who want to experience a Harrogate meet but who may not get accepted for the Open or Junior Open. Entries are welcome from swimmers who must not have made a County Final and who are not faster then the consideration time. Swimmers finishing faster than the consideration time get a speeding ticket, but can't win an award. Part of a series including the Graded Meets at York and Leeds. Sponsored by YSA as a Development Meet.

The Junior Open is run to the same standard as our Open Meet but is for swimmers in the 9-13 year Girls, 9-14 year Boys

 age groups. THIS MEET IS LICENSED BY THE A.S.A. FOR ENTRY INTO NATIONAL AND DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS.

This is our flagship meet run to the highest standards of Meet Administration by our experienced meet management team. The event in 2010 was attended by swimmers from all over the UK,  attracted by high competitive standards and one of the best racing pool facilities in the North. 2011 A and B GRADED MEET April TBA

 Is this meet for your club? This meet will allow your club to swim most of its swimmers, at the same meet, and provided that you enter in good time acceptance should be available for all your entries. This will be the second year for this meet at the Harrogate Hydro and will be delivered to our normal high standard. It gives your members the opportunity to swim in probably the North’s best purely Short Course facility. Entries in 2010 'sold out' within 5 hours so we are going to think of a different mechanism.
