Q: What does it cost to join and what does Membership cover?
A: Membership of HDSC includes Membership of the ASA, affiliation to YSA , ASANER, and Insurance. The fee is set Annually at the AGM. You only need join HDSC if you wish to enter competitions, but it is expected that you will do so if you swim in SDS Squads.

The fee is an annual one and is in addition to any monthly fees you pay to the SDS. In 2012 it is £70.00.


Q: How does my child join HDSC Swimming Lessons
A: HDSC doesn't provide any swimming lessons - these are provided by the Council operated Swimming Development Scheme (SDS) at pools across the District. Ask at reception at the Hydro, Knaresborough, Starbeck, Ripon, and Nidderdale Pools.  


Q: How does my child join HDSC Training Squads
A: HDSC doesn't provide any Squad Coaching - these are provided by the Council operated Swimming Development Scheme (SDS). Ask at Reception at the Hydro.


Q: How do I join the Masters Squad?
