Harrogate District Swimming Club (HDSC) is the volunteer competitive support arm of the Harrogate District Swimming Development Scheme (SDS) which provides learn-to-Swim opportunities through to Championship Coaching and is offered by Harrogate Borough Council. The Club exists to create first class competitive aquatic opportunity for its members. HDSC was the first Club in Yorkshire to achieve the ASA's Swim2l Accreditation, which carries Sport England's Clubmark. Our accreditation was upgraded to Competitive Development Club.
Membership of Harrogate District Swimming Club is open to anyone who has reached the standard of the Foundation Squad in the SDS. HDSC supports equal opportunities for its members and welcomes everyone who wishes to develop and challenge their skills in the water. HDSC also organises social and fund raising events. HDSC is entirely a voluntary organisation, and needs the assistance of members and their parents to ensure its continued success.
Contact InformationTo meet us - HDSC Committee Members are available at the Hydro each Monday evening that training is in operation. We are usually at a table in the viewing area for the shallow pool . That's the best place to find us.
